Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Britta has been adopted! 10-29-2023

Female German Shepherd Dog /Australian Shepherd mix about 2-3 months old. Good with kids. OK with cats. Gets along with other dogs.

Meet the “B” family!
Britta and her siblings were born to mom Blossom. There are five boys and four girls. All of their names start with the letter "B" as they are Coastal's B litter! Blossom was dumped in a shelter "night box" while pregnant and gave birth to the puppies in the shelter before Coastal GSR rescued the family.

Mom and babies have been in a loving foster home in Bishop, CA (near Mammoth) and have been well socialized and are very happy and secure pups!

Mom is a medium sized German Shepherd mix and is approximately 50 pounds. Her babies are mixes as well and we think their primary breeds are German Shepherd and possibly Australian Shepherd based on their coloring and features. Some of the puppies have long tails like a GSD and others have naturally bobbed tails!

Britta is a pretty girl who is a little bit shy. She loves her siblings and runs with the pack but she is not the one who will start mischief.

Please fill out an application and an adoption counselor will be in touch with you to tell you more about the adoption process.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
