Bentley has been adopted! 10-29-2023
Bentley and his siblings were born to mom Blossom. There are five boys and four girls. All of the their names start with the letter "B" as they are Coastal's B litter! Mom Blossom was dumped in a shelter "night box" while pregnant and gave birth to the puppies in the shelter before Coastal GSR rescued the family.
Mom Blossom (photo included) is a German Shepherd mix and is approximately 50 pounds. Her babies are mixes as well and we think their primary breeds are German Shepherd and possibly Australian Shepherd based on their coloring and features. Some of the puppies have long tails like a GSD and other have short, bobbed tails.
Bentley is another water boy who likes to sit by the stream and play in it. He has a short, bobbed tail. He has grayish colored eyes that are very pretty.
The puppies are currently with a foster family in Bishop California, near the Mammoth Lakes area. If you are interested in one of the puppies from this litter you must go to Bishop to meet them. Coastal GSR does not have immediate plans to bring them to Orange County for lack of fosters in OC.
Please fill out an application and an adoption counselor will be in touch with you to tell you more about the adoption process.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
