Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Millie has been adopted! 08-12-2022

Female Belgian Shepherd Malinois /Boxer mix about 2-3 months old. Good with kids. OK with cats. Gets along with other dogs.

Millie and her sister Stella had a sad start, as many of our puppies have. A man drove up to a shelter with a car load of seven Malinois puppies. He had no money to feed them and he had no home. He also did not have the mom or dad of the litter. Where he got them from is still a mystery.

Coastal GSR took two of the puppies and two other rescues took the other puppies. The puppies were very underweight and went immediately to one of our vets. They were tested for Parvo and parasites. They were Parvo negative. They went into a foster home where they have been eating and resting and starting to enjoy the life of a puppy.

Millie has the gray collar and is a little bit darker than her sister Stella. Otherwise they are very similar and hard to tell apart. Both girls have ears like Dobby the house elf in Harry Potter! They are so cute! They are estimated to be approximately 2 months old. They both had their first puppy vaccination and have been microchipped. Now they just need their forever home!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
