Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Jet has been adopted! 10-23-2022

Male German Shepherd Dog about 1-2 years old. Gets along with other dogs.

Jet grew up in a house with 28 dogs. Yes, his owner was a hoarder and the dogs were eventually confiscated by animal control. As you can imagine, he is great with other dogs but wasn’t socialized with people (we’d imagine you don’t have much company over to a home with 28 dogs) and can be timid with new people and in new situations.

The Tulare shelter volunteers did a great job starting their socialization process and the Coastal volunteers continue to get them exposed to new things and new people. Jet is easy on a leash, super sweet and cuddly with the people he knows, appears to have been an inside dog in his previous home, and can't wait to find his forever family!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
