Andi has been adopted! 03-12-2022
Andi is one of nine puppies born to a Belgian Malinois mother and a German Shepherd mix father. The mother gave birth to her puppies under an old RV right before a snow storm. A good hearted Samaritan rescued mom and pups and took them home. The puppies' mom is still in Anza with her rescuer. The rescuer asked Coastal German Shepherd to help place the puppies and find them good homes. We were happy to help.
Most of the puppies, including Andi, look like dark colored Malinois like their mom. Andi is one of the more mellower puppies in this litter. She is the shy, sweet sister. She has been in a car and lays down and tries to fall asleep unlike her sister Angel who sees every car ride as a new adventure. She is good with people and while she has typical puppy energy, she is not rambunctious. She would do well in a low key home.
Andi is quiet and calm for this breed compared to some of her siblings. However, please do not apply for Andi or any of her siblings unless you have done some Belgian Malinois and GSD research as she is still a Malinois mix and will require socialization and training to help her become the best adult dog she can be.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
