Atlas has been adopted! 02-01-2022
Atlas is one of nine puppies born to a Belgian Malinois mother and a German Shepherd mix father. The mother gave birth to her puppies under an old RV right before a snow storm. A good hearted Samaritan rescued mom and pups and took them home. The puppies' mom is still in Anza with her rescuer. The rescuer asked Coastal German Shepherd to help place the puppies and find them good homes. We were happy to help.
Most of the puppies, including Atlas, look like dark colored Malinois like their mom. Atlas will be a "Velcro" dog. If you are Looking for a buddy who's always game and wants to be with you 24/7 then Atlas is your guy. He'd prefer to be touching you all the time.
Atlas is very smart and trainable. All of the puppies in this litter are very high energy and drive. They are going to require a lot of attention and training. He, like his other siblings, will require socialization and training to help him be the most awesome dog he can be. We recommend that you do some research about Belgian Malinois and GSD before applying to adopt Atlas.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
