Gale has been adopted! 02-26-2022

Gale is a red and white female Siberian Husky puppy that is 12 weeks old. Mom is Azuki (photo included). Azuki was rescued while she was pregnant. She gave birth to the "Greenacre Gang" at her rescuer and new owner's home. There were 8 puppies in the litter - 5 girls and 3 boys. We aren't 100% certain what the dad was but was most likely a Husky or Husky mix.

This little girl can be vocal, like a typical Husky. You will know when she isn't happy and when she wants something. But, she is very playful - jumping/pouncing is one of her favorite things to do. Even though she is an active pup - she loves to be held. Gale looks the most like her mom, Azuki.

Before applying for Gale, we recommend that you do your homework about Huskies. They are not for everyone and they require training, LOTS of exercise, and an escape-proof yard. Previous Husky experience is recommended for a high energy pup like Gale. We recommend that Gale go to a home with another dog of equal energy. Since her siblings have been adopted and leaving for their forever homes, Gale has missed them and her foster mom thinks that Gale will need a canine playmate and companion to help her acclimate into a new home.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
