Benji has been adopted! 10-17-2021
Benji is a member of the "B puppy litter". The B litter has five siblings - two female and three male. They were born in the high desert and relinquished to Coastal when they were 6 weeks old.
The mom is a Husky and German Shepherd mix. We are pretty sure that there were two dads because two of the puppies look like German Shepherd puppies and are twice the size and weight of the other three.
Bumper, Becca, and Benjie are about 5 pounds each and look more like the Husky side of mom than the German Shepherd.
Benji and Bumper look and act a lot alike but you can tell them apart because Benji does not have a white spot on his nose. Bumper does. Benji is a sweet boy who enjoys playing with his smaller siblings and being cuddled. He is a typical little puppy who likes toys, exploring, and snuggling.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
