Ranger is available ( Updated 06-24-2021 )
Ranger was adopted as a puppy during the pandemic. As the world is becoming more "open," his adopters decided that they had more exciting things to do than take care of a dog. It is unclear how that could be, however, because Ranger is much more fun than just about anything else! He is still very much a goofy and playful puppy who loves everyone he meets.
Born on 6/27/20, Ranger is potty trained, good in his crate, and has been doing much better on walks where he has been discovering many new things. He is good with other dogs, but may annoy an older dog because if he isn't playing with them he wants to give them kisses. While his previous home was one with children, he may not be suitable for young ones that he could accidentally knock over- he's a tall dude with tons of energy.
With continued walks and training, he should be easy (and fun!) to addition to your family.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
