Kaila has been adopted! 05-11-2021
Mom Kaia and her "K" puppies were rescued when the puppies were a couple of weeks old. A great mom, she raised her puppies with a foster family in San Diego county and, aside from Kaila, all have found their forever families.
Kaila's mother is a gorgeous GSD, but we have no idea about the breed of the father, although the puppies all look predominantly like GSDs themselves. Now around 3-4 months old, Kaila is healthy and big! We estimate that these pups will grow up to be possibly over 80 pounds when fully grown.
Kaila is Hawaiian for "stylish." This beauty with the big ears is a people dog. She, loves to be on your lap and will take naps there, and adores playing. She was the first pup in the litter to curl up and fall asleep on her fosters' laps. She is a sweet girl, has all of the energy that comes along with a young GSD, is mouthy and loves to chew on things, and is looking for a family who will appreciate the rambunctiousness of a baby land shark.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
