Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Finn is available ( Updated 03-04-2021 )

Male Australian Shepherd /Collie mix about 1-2 years old. Not cat friendly. Homes with no other dogs.

Finn can’t think of anything better than being surrounded by people who will give him affection and toss him balls. He’s loved everyone he’s ever met and can be found playing with his toys when not asking for pets.

This handsome 70-plus pound freckled boy didn’t seem to have had any structure prior to his rescue and didn’t know how to walk on a leash, so we immediately sent him to boot camp. He’s now vetted and completed the training program, which resulted in a much more attentive fluff ball who can now walk well on a leash. Finn knows his basic commands, is potty trained, needs to be the only dog, and is looking for a family who can continue to show him structure and the perks of being part of a family!

**As mentioned above, Finn needs to be the only dog in the home and is not dog friendly. This means that he wouldn’t enjoy dog parks, dog beaches, or any places where off-leash dogs would try to interact with him.**

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
