Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Jedi has been adopted! 01-10-2020

Male German Shepherd Dog about 2-3 months old. Gets along with other dogs.

Jedi and his siblings were rescued by a good-hearted person in San Diego and released to Coastal GSR. The four puppies (Jade, J-Mo, Jedi, and Jeffie) had ringworm, abrasions and worms. All of the puppies went to the vet and received the treatments and medicines they needed.

Jedi is with a family that has several German Shepherds and cats. He and the youngest shepherd like to play and steal toys from each other. Jedi is very smart, active and likes to keep busy but he can cuddle with the best of them. Jedi is a German Shepherd mix and his coloring is close to that of a yellow lab; however, he is smaller than both those breeds. Jedi would do well in a home with children. Jedi, like his sister Jade, likes to be part of the action and would not do well being left alone for long periods of time. He loves having a pack around him and we recommend that he should be in a home with at least one other dog.

Jedi loves to curl up between dogs in the corner before bedtime but he is crate trained. His foster takes him in the car and to Home Depot and to various jobs with him. Jedi loves that. He could be cat friendly but it depends on the cat. If the cat runs, he will chase it. If the cat stands his ground then things would be fine.

Jedi was born on August 10, 2019.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
