Geo has been adopted! 11-15-2019
Geo is a gorgeous black Border Collie mix who is probably around 10 months old. He and his brother, Georgie, came to us from an Inland Empire home in which they primarily lived in a backyard. They socialized only with each other until their rescue, but they've made up for lost time!
Geo is doing very well in his foster home and is loving life. He is curious about everything and loves to explore. He is very lovable, housebroken, and walks pretty good on a leash for a puppy. He doesn't really like to be in a crate but will go in one when bribed with treats, as he is very food motivated. He just needs a proper intro with both people and dogs, but then has been fabulous with both. He is very smart, learns quickly, loves playing with his canine foster siblings, and cuddling with his foster family. He is a class A snuggler! He will just flop into you and give you kisses. He's a super sweet little boy who is a velcro dog, but also knows how to entertain himself.
Geo loves being around children and playing with his toys, especially his ball. This gorgeous boy would make a great addition to a family.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
