Bandit has been adopted! 02-24-2019
Bandit and his brother Bravo were found in a junkyard in Riverside. The two boys relied on each other and were able to survive until Good Samaritans got them and brought them in to be rescued. For being on their own, both boys are very friendly with people and other dogs. They have been placed in separate foster homes because Bandit had a large umbilical hernia which was fixed and his brother kept wanting to play with him, even with his cone head. Bandit has approximately 1 more week of cone wearing before it can come off. Bandit is a sweet pup who loves the older female GSD in the foster home. A home that has a friendly older dog who would like a young buddy would be perfect for Bandit. He is approximately 4 months old and does well in a crate and is potty trained.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
