Sydney has been adopted! 09-29-2018
Sydney found her way to us when her owner passed away and his children couldn't take care of their father's dog. This beauty lived a rough life, probably in a backyard, as she was infested with fleas, had flea dermatitis, was missing a good portion of her coat, and looked underweight. A Good Samaritan was helping the family and took Sydney to her vet, got her healthy again, and then reached out to rescues.
Sydney, who is 3 years old, is good with big and small dogs and learning that living inside of the house is much more comfortable than being outside all of the time! She's doing great in her foster home: is potty trained, good in the house, and ready to join a loving family.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
