Auberon is available ( Updated 07-19-2018 )
Auberon - also known as Obi - is a 3-4 month old white German Shepherd who possibly has some cattle dog in him as well. He is mostly white but has cute brown freckled ears and belly. He was originally adopted by a family as a cute little baby. Now he is a happy, energetic puppy but they couldn't handle his puppy exuberance. Auberon is sharp, sweet, and loves to play with his toys. A home with another dog may help keep him busy but so far he is not that interested in other dogs but loves people! He is quite a dynamo! He would be fine with older children but younger children (< 6 yoa) may find his energy to be too much. He does awesome riding in cars.
Auberon sleeps all night in crate without a peep and has no accidents. He will go out into his run to pay with toys by himself. He is an outstanding eater and is housebroken. He is very smart! His foster mom is a dog trainer and has been working with him. He is starting to respond to his name and learning to sit, drop it, off, and down.
Auberon is not (at least at this point) for an inexperienced owner. He has a strong personality and could become really pushy. He is not shy and when he is spooked, recovers quickly.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
