Opal has been adopted! 02-18-2018
The "O litter" puppies and their mom Oma came to us when the pups were just 2 days old. They were born in a shelter but were quickly whisked away to a foster's home where they spent the first few weeks of their lives with mom. They were weaned and have been potty trained and crate trained. When their foster mom whistles for them to come eat they all go running and you've never seen anything cuter than this puppy stampede towards their food. Three of the pups are white - Olaf, Ophelia, and Opal - and the other four have traditional German Shepherd brown and beige coloring. Oma the mom is a small beige Shepherd with possibly Husky mixed in. We don't know what the dad is.
Opal's ears are now standing. She is a fun loving female who likes to join her brother Olaf in creating lots of puppy fun.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
