Drone has been adopted! 06-10-2017
Drone was found in the Inland Empire and taken to a shelter, but, on his last day, Coastal GSR was asked to save his life. He is a nice dog who is generally easy going and responds well to people. He is goofy and fun loving, enjoys playing, and taking walks or hikes. He has learned how to be on a leash, but could be a tad better. Drone is not aggressive, but can display "attitude" sometimes. He most likely never had structure in his life and does what he can to get his way. He will need someone who is a leader and will work with him. Previous GSD experience is a plus.
Drone could do well in a home with another dog about his own size He loves to play with other dogs. He may play too rough with a small dog.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
