Loralai has been adopted! 03-25-2017
It hasn't always been easy for this approx. 1-year-old GSD. She was hit by a car and Animal Control was called to pick her up. Her guardian angel heard her plight through a friend and tracked her down at a local shelter, rescuing her from a very uncertain future. Loralai is a very lucky girl. She is dearly loved by the Good Samaritan who wanted to ensure that she got the life she deserves, but, unfortunately, can't offer her a forever home due to her work schedule.
Due to the accident, Loralai now gets around on 3 legs instead of 4, but it doesn't slow her down one bit! She's adjusted nicely to life on three legs and is ready to give lots of love to a loving family who will appreciate a friendly, well socialized, smart, young GSD. She has been living with a trainer for the past month and is fully obedience trained, as well as small and big dog friendly, cat friendly, potty trained, good in the house, and great with older children.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
