Meadow has been adopted! 10-26-2016

Female German Shepherd Dog about 2-3 months old. Good with kids. Gets along with other dogs.

Meet little Meadow, a spunky black German Shepherd puppy. Meadow loves people and is a sweet little girl. She is active and curious about the world around her. She loves to explore and play with her toys. While she is very playful, she also will curl up at your feet and hang out. Meadow likes other dogs and would do well in a home with another dog or a family who has dog friends to socialize her with.

One of our volunteers rescued Meadow from a family who bought her, without really thinking about what was involved in raising a baby dog. She is very smart. Meadow is crate trained and working on her housebreaking. This little bear will be a wonderful addition to an active family who is will to commit to her future training. Adopters will be required to attend puppy class and a basic obedience course to insure that Meadow gets the proper start with her new family. We are asking a $500 donation for her adoption.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
