Kaya has been adopted! 02-05-2016
Kaya is an extremely sweet, affectionate and submissive young girl. She was estimated to be 12-18 months old. She likes playing with her older foster brother and the Doberman next door. She has demonstrated that she likes children, including young toddlers and babies. Considering her age, Kaya is mellow and quiet which is nice when coming home after a long day of work. Her favorite thing in the whole world is a good belly rub. She is such a love-bug and just wants your affection more than anything.
Kaya is house broken and sleeps quietly through the night. Although mellow and easy going in the house, she is excited and happy when going on walks, which leads to her pulling. Her adopter should be committed to basic obedience training, mainly so she can learn to focus and understand basic commands when walking on leash.
In all, Kaya is a great girl and an easy addition to any family looking for a dog with a sweet and easygoing temperament. She would be great if you’re looking for a dog with a low maintenance personality, or for someone looking for their first large breed dog.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
