Rue has been adopted! 12-24-2015
Rue, and her sister were found abandoned outside of a shelter in San Bernardino. These tiny five pound puppies had no chance of surviving on their own, so a volunteer from Coastal GSR scooped them up and now they are safe in a foster home.
Rue is a demure little girl, who greets you by rolling right on to her back for an immediate belly rub, it is her adorable way of saying hello. She is very affectionate, the epitome of a lap dog. Calm and mellow when it’s time to watch your favorite show on the couch. However, she still loves a game of chase and fetch whether it’s with her foster parents or with bigger dogs in her foster home.
Rue is crate trained, in fact… she loves her crate and crawls right in when it’s time for a nap. She sleeps through the whole night (8 hours) without waking to potty. Great characteristics when bringing a new puppy home.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
