Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Mikah has been adopted! 08-22-2015

Male German Shepherd Dog about 2-3 months old. Good with kids. Gets along with other dogs.

Our 2015 M litter came as a total surprise to us. Their mom Jenny was rescued from a high kill shelter as a spayed female when she ran out of time after being adopted and returned within 24 hours. As a new Owner Turn In she was at risk of being killed, so Coastal whisked her to safety. After a month in our care it became obvious that Jenny was not only not spayed, but also very pregnant.
Jenny went into a foster home where she delivered her 9 babies on July 1st. Her puppies are beautiful and healthy, having grown up in our care. The M puppies are almost 6 weeks old now and we will be prescreening applications for their adoptions. The puppies will be able to go to their new homes beginning the last weekend in August once they are 8 weeks old.

Our M puppies are very sweet and loving and appear to be German Shepherds. Mama Jenny has a wonderful temperament and loves all that she meets and seems to have passed this on to her babies. We are asking a $500 donation for out M puppies. If you are interested in being considered to adopt one of our precious M puppies, please fill out an online adoption application to begin the screening process.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
