Rain has been adopted! 05-11-2015

Female German Shepherd Dog about 4-6 months old. Good with kids. OK with cats. Gets along with other dogs.

Meet Ms Rain, our adorable black fuzzy girl. This pup has had a rough start, but it looks like it is all behind her now. She has recovered from surgery on her telescoped intestine and is now ready to find her family.

Rain is a very sweet pup and while playful, is very calm and easy to handle. She is crate trained and doing very well on her potty training. She walks nicely on a leash and is working on basic obedience. Rain gets along well with other dogs and would most likely do well with cats. She loves people and getting attention and would do best in a home where she is not left by herself for long periods of time. Her plush coat is very soft and make her even more cuddly.

Being about 4 months old she is past the mouthy puppy stage. She loves to be petted and is is very easy to brush and clip her nails. Rain's favorite spot is laying by your feet so she is always easy to find. With her lovely temperament and calm demeanor she will make a wonderful addition to her new family.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
