Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Jillian has been adopted! 10-03-2015

Female German Shepherd Dog about 6-9 years old. OK with cats. Gets along with other dogs.

Jillian is an 8.5 year old GSD that was rescued by Coastal German Shepherd Rescue just hours before she was scheduled to be euthanized at a local shelter!

Jillian is a love bug and a total sweetheart who wants to be in your company and in the company of her four-legged buddies. She is currently in an OC foster home with 3 male GSDs and 3 male cats and has a small female dog that comes over to visit quite often as well.

Jillian gets along fabulously with her furry companions and is potty trained. She loves to nap in the sun, survey the yard for lizards, sleep on her choice of dog beds and play with her numerous tennis balls! She was obviously used as a "breeding machine" in the past and is getting some much deserved R&R and play time in her foster home with her 6 foster brothers.

While Jillian loves her foster mom, she truly LOVES men and would do best and thrive in a home with at least one man in the house and another furry friend - male or female, big or small, dog or cat - to hang out and relax with!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
