Lala has been adopted! 01-03-2015
Lala and her brother, Mello, were rescued together. They were also adopted together from the shelter as puppies and, sadly, returned to the very same shelter by their "owner" two years later. They have never been apart! Despite being abandoned, they are both are happy dogs and ready to start this new chapter of their lives. Lala is approx 2 years old; she's a long coat Shepherd with perhaps some Retriever sprinkled in. Since this is a bonded pair, we really want to place them together and as such, will place them for a single dog adoption fee. Two dogs, especially when bonded, are always easier than one dog. They keep each other company when their human family is gone from home.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
