Georgia has been adopted! 08-24-2013
Sweet Georgia is only about a year old and not only found herself in a scary Animal Shelter, but pregnant as well. One of the shelter workers reached out to us to rescue her when her time was up. One look at her sweet face and we couldn't say no. Not only did we rescue Georgia, but also saved her friend and kennelmate Piper, who is also just a youngster. Although sick when she left the shelter, Georgia settled into her foster home well and recovered quickly. Less than 2 weeks later, this little girl gave birth to 11 puppies. She has been a great mom and has spent the last month and a half raising her babies. She is now looking for a family of her own. Georgia is on the smaller side, weighing about 40 lbs. She is a happy and loving girl who will make a wonderful addition to an active family. She loves to run and play or just be with you. She is very smart and well behaved in the house. This awesome young lady will give her new family years of love and devotion, so come and meet her today.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
