Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Remembering Jane
Rest in Peace

Female about old.

Jane's shelter plea was circulated far and wide. We mist have received her sad shelter picture 35 times from people begging us to save her. We didn't have any space in boarding and couldn't afford to bring in another doggy. At just the right time, a kind foster stepped up and offered to foster Jane! Right about then, we found out that Jane had a friend at the shelter--a cute, GSD mix who she was buddies with. We could not rescue Jane and leave her pal Rhett behind. So, both Jane and Rhett were rescued and are now fostered together. They are both waiting for forever homes--together or separately--neither will mind!

Jane is super easy going, loves other dogs, enjoys playing and even gave a shot at swimming! She is good natured, loving and gentle. We believe she is 6-7 years old and has a lot of life in her! She would love a home with other animals as she is a very social gal.

Earned her "Angel wings" 2/20/12

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
