Danika has been adopted! 07-30-2013
Dani is becoming more comfortable around her five canine foster brothers and sisters, ranging from 12-95 pounds. She was quite protective of her surroundings while she was raising her puppies, as any mother would be but is coming around to learn that other dogs are really fun to hang out and play with! Her favorite activity is playing and wrestling with her six month old foster sister for hours. Dani is quite smart and works very hard to please her foster mom and teenage daughters who she adores and is very affectionate with. New humans are always introduced slowly as she was probably not socialized very well. She is learning to trust and if she is uncomfortable in a situation she is happy to retreat to her crate on her own. Dani is crate trained
and housebroken and would excel in obedience training, agility courses and just about anything you are willing to enjoy with her.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
