Klaus has been adopted! 07-07-2013
Approx 6 - 7 years old, Klaus was rescued with two fractures in his right front leg right around Christmas (yes, we are very creative with those names sometimes, aren't we?) His leg has healed up nicely and though he's lucky to be in a foster home, he'd love nothing more than a forever family to call his own! Klaus is super-affectionate with a sweet personality -- he'd be a great companion for someone who is home a lot because, really, all he wants to do is hang out with his person. Klaus would do best in a home without cats (he chased them in his first foster home), but gets along famously with other dogs -- big and small.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
