Bruno has been adopted! 11-09-2015

Male German Shepherd Dog about 3-5 years old. Good with kids. Gets along with other dogs. Not cat friendly.

Bruno is the type of dog that true German Shepherd lovers look for. He is driven, smart, active, protective and loyal. He has gone through advanced obedience and loves to work. His goal is to please his handler and to be by your side! Bruno gets along great with other animals and likes the companionship but really likes to be with his person!

Bruno is an active boy with a lot of energy. He can run, hike, bike...you name it, he will be up for it! Bruno needs an ACTIVE home that will get him at least 5 miles of exercise per day, just watch the video - he LOVES a treadmill and will put himself on it, waiting for his person to turn it on for him!

Once Bruno gets that DAILY exercise, he is a couch potato. But the intense exercise is key to keeping Bruno balanced and out of trouble. You know the saying, a bored German Shepherd is likely to be getting in trouble!

If you don't have solid experience with large breeds, preferably German Shepherds, Bruno is not your guy, but if you are looking for a fun loving, hiking/running buddy, give Bruno another look!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
