Nina has been adopted! 07-28-2014
People often wonder how we end up with so many mixes. Sweet little Nina is an example of "let's take her friend, too!" Since we don't discriminate, Nina was pulled from the shelter with her friend Molly (a white GSD who has since found her forever home). Now, Nina still patiently awaits happily ever after.
Nina is a condo-sized princess who loves playing with other dogs -- but doesn't much like other dogs getting in her face. I suppose you could say she can dish it but doesn't like to take it! (as you can see in her video). She's very playful though and would enjoy a canine companion. She's also good with kids though her ideal home would probably be one with older children as she can get a little excited. Nina would love to be someone's hiking partner or snuggle buddy!
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
