Bud has been adopted! 12-17-2012

Male about 0 old.

One late afternoon, our transporter was at the shelter rescuing another lucky dog when a shelter coordinator ran out into the parking lot to catch him. A backyard breeder had just walked into the shelter to dump a 6 week old beautiful little boy because he couldn't afford the care of a puppy. If it wasn't for our transporters split second thinking, Bud would have been put to sleep.

Bud is in foster care, simply doing amazing! He has big dogs as well as other puppies to keep him busy and Bud loves to chase after the grumpy old Lab because, heck, it's fun! He can be a bit shy at first but Bud warms up quickly; he will grow to be a wonderful forever dog for the perfect forever family!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
