Paige has been adopted! 04-23-2005
Paige is an approximately 1 year female shepherd mixed with something cute and sweet! We heard about Paige from a caring shelter worker who begged us to take on this petite, sweet girl. Paige is barely 12 months old and was confiscated from her “family” who tied her day and night to a truck as punishment for leaving an unfenced yard!!!
We are constantly amazed at the capacity of these dogs to have such a loving sweet disposition. Paige is happy for any attention and, like most rescued dogs, will bond quickly to her new family. She did very well at her first adoption event, interacting with the other dogs, all ages of children and of course adults!
Paige is living in a kennel free boarding facility where she has quickly become one of the favorites. She is small – well under 50 lbs – and fully grown. We would like to place Paige in a family with children but she will fit nicely into any family situation.
If you would like to meet Paige, please fill out our online application or contact Beth at eacalder@yahoo.com.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
