Landon has been adopted! 05-15-2005

Landon is a BIG puppy! He LOVES everyone and has manners to boot! At his first adoption event, we discovered very quickly that he loves, loves, loves a ball and will do all kinds of tricks to get the ball for himself.

Did we mention that he has manners? Mr. Landon sits, shakes, walks nicely on a leash, lights up at the sight of kids - he is an allaround Mr. Nice Guy.

Landon almost didn't make it out of the shelter - his picture was not posted because the shelter staff reported a skin condition. Upon further inspection, what our boy needs is a good medicated bath and a good diet. He is currently getting both. We think he is around 18 mos old and he gets along really well with all kinds of dogs. He is living in a kennel free boarding facility where he entertains the kennel owner on a daily basis.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
