Cassidy has been adopted! 01-21-2012
Not as uncommon of a story as we'd like- young Cassidy found herself in a city shelter, with a medical issue (broken toes), which the shelter was unable to care for properly. Upon hearing her story, we bit the bullet and committed to her care. Cassidy saw our trusted vets and after a splint, medication, and crate rest, Cassidy has resumed her life as a carefree puppy! Cassidy is well on her way to being housebroken, is already crate trained, and she is a rock star with other 4-legged animals! Cassidy has met the cats in her home with little interest, and we find that to be a great thing! She is a typical energetic youngster who would benefit from being a running or hiking partner! She is extremely intelligent, as most Shepherds and would excell in any obedience class.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
