Charity has been adopted! 05-05-2012
Meet sweet Charity, a wonderful 5-6 year old German Shepherd female. This gal originally came to us through the West Valley Shelter. She had been adopted and returned because she had wounds on her legs that they didn't want to take care of. Unfortunately, her wounds went untreated too long and she developed a MRSA infection. She's getting the treatment she needs and is in foster care, getting lots of rest, love and encouragement until she's fully recovered and ready for adoption. She's an absolute delight, breeze on the leash and loves to be with people and other dogs. Charity knows all of her house skills and is really easy to care for. There's nothing she loves more than a ride in the car -- she's really well-behaved on the journey. Charity will make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a laid back, easy going gal to take on short walks with her family. If you would like to give a very sweet, deserving gal a nice, comfortable home, please meet Charity and consider adding her to your family!
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
