Arthos has been adopted! 05-07-2012
Anala's Angels came into the world in a pretty ordinary way, born in a family home on March 1. Little did they know, in less than a week everything would change! Fortunately they will never know how close they came to losing their lives. One day their owners packed them up with their mom, dad "Amigo" and Aunt Amelia and headed for a high kill shelter. Thankfully a transporter for a local rescue group saw the extended family packed in the car and talked the owner into taking the family home giving Coastal a chance to find a place for them to go and someone to pick them up. Within a few hours the whole extended family was safe in Coastal's care. Anala and her 5 sable babies luckily went to a foster home where they have spent the past 6 weeks growing up and thriving. Like most puppies, the "Angels" have spend their days hanging out in the sun, playing with toys and socializing with the big dogs in their foster home. There are 3 boys and 2 girls in the group, each one with their own adorable personality to go along with their good looks. We would now like you to meet the newest additions to Coastal's Sable Club. Fuzzy little Arthos is the smallest of the boys. He is a quiet somewhat reserved little guy who sometimes just likes to hang back and watch the action. Not one to miss the opportunity to play, he waits for the right moment to spring into action! "Arti" is a cuddly little guy who enjoys being petted and played with. This smart boy is also very easy going and calm. He likes to play with toys and loves other dogs too. This fine little gentleman will fit well with a family with a quieter home, especially if he will have an older canine brother or sister. We are asking a $500 donation for Arthos' adoption.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
