Riley Jensen has been adopted! 09-29-2012

Male about old.

Meet RILEY JENSEN (her middle name!) Sadly, someone nearly starved her to death, most likely trying to make her become aggressive, but this dog doesn't have a mean bone in her body so that didn't work. Thankfully, we were able to rescue her just in the nick of time and rushed her to our Veterinarian for treatment. She initially weighed in at 30 pounds and now weighs a hearty 70 pounds. She has thrived under foster care, has gained weight and looks great!

Riley Jensen is super sweet, playful, great on a leash and housebroken. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and loves nothing more than to snuggle and get a good belly rub. If you have ever heard that Pit Bulls are mean, this dog will prove to you and everyone she meets that is not always true. She is a very strong girl, though so her ideal home would be one with older kids and larger dogs. She is the most loving, little love bug and she is always wagging her tail despite her rough start. Can you provide love, good food, plenty of water and exercise to this sweet gal? We promise you will instantly fall in love the minute you meet her! Let's give her the life she deserves.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
