Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Cassel has been adopted! 09-15-2012

Female about 0 old.

Cassel, a shelter rescue on her last day before seeing her life snuffed out, another nameless number.....she came to us scared, confused, afraid of other dogs. We were worried that she wouldn't do well with other dogs and not be able to bond with people.

This is the power of volunteers who don't give up. After a short period of time, Cassel started to relax and realize that everyone around her only had kindness for her. She is now happy, loving and super duper sweet! She gets along great with other dogs and we think she'd be a wonderful companion for a family with small kids.

What a great, fun loving girl this is! She has nothing but a smile and kiss for everyone. Every time her foster mom bends over, Cassel zooms in for a quick kiss! She would be a PERFECT dog with another dog who is more dominant. She has made fast friends with the dominant female in her foster home and sleeps with her head on her new friend's hip. Cassel is housebroken, can spend time in a crate and is just a marvelous family dog.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
