Lollipop has been adopted! 12-02-2012

Female about 1-2 years old. Gets along with other dogs.

We spotted Lollipop and knew we had to help her. This young lady was unceremoniously dumped at a high kill shelter in LA County. She has a delightful, kind personality and is definitely drawn to people. She likes being near her foster humans and is a bit overwhelmed by the other foster dogs in her home but quickly getting used to them. Lolli walks nicely on a leash, we are working on some simple commands and she is eager to please.

We think that she will be a great family dog, will be good with small kids and appears to be housebroken. She has enjoyed her short grooming sessions, particularly enjoying a wire brush combing out her undercoat. At somewhere between 12 - 18 months old, she has her whole life ahead of her.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
