Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

DJ has been adopted! 01-01-2005

Female about 0 old.

Cute and furry but sad and withdrawn, DJ was homeless and faced a very uncertain future. His owners had abandoned him at a animal shelter with no reason given. This sweet guy sat at the shelter for weeks waiting for someone to pick him. His name came and went and his days were numbered.

When Coastal German Shepherd Rescue heard about this boy, we knew that we needed to help. DJ has a great personality! He gets along very well with other dogs. DJ is very athletic and needs a secure yard or an owner who can be home with him often. DJ is very attached to his people and prefers to be with you.

DJ can be a bit timid around men and will need love and patience to trust again. Can he find the love he needs in your home?

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
