Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Elmo has been adopted! 01-01-2005

Female about 0 old.

Named in honor of the rescuer's 4 year old son's favorite cartoon character, and his somewhat comical expression. Elmo seemed like a lost soul at the shelter,
his "last day" had come and gone. The staff at the shelter determined that this young male deserved a few extra days and
on his very last day Elmo's prayers were answered . . . he was given another chance at life.

Elmo was adopted but unfortunately family circumstances have arisen which make it impossible for them to keep him. Coastal provides a safety net for all our dogs, and we are committed to finding
Elmo a loving forever home.

Elmo is approximately 2 one-half years old, with a short, neat coat and a smooth elegant gait. He seems to just effortlessly glide along the ground.
He is big-boned, and has a beautiful head. His expression is one of both humor and dignity. Elmo LOVES attention. Elmo is pretty miserable living in a dog run and his family is trying to keep him until
we can find him the perfect home. Can you give Elmo a family he can love and call his own?

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
