Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Bo has been adopted! 01-01-2005

Female about 0 old.

Meet our buddy Bo! Bo is a gorgeous black and tan boy about 2 years old. Bo was a shelter rescue after his owners failed to reclaim him. He was going to be used solely for breeding and his owners had no intention of saving his life from a high kill animal shelter if he was going to be neutered. Therefore, Coastal German Shepherd Rescue intervened and gave Bo a new leash on life. Bo is a very sweet, very well mannered boy. He gets along nicely with other dogs and loves "his" people.

Bo is very protective and needs an experienced owner who can try and direct this skill. Bo would do best in an adult home as children bring out a bit of fear in him and he reacts negatively. Bo is a dog that is very eager to please and would do best in a home with an alpha owner to direct him. Bo is housebroken and loves to be inside.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
