Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Jim has been adopted! 12-04-2005

Male about 0 old.

Jim is a young, classic male that we rescued from a high kill shelter at the very last minute. He and his kennel mate, Debbie, were found together and had owner ID on them. Their owners never returned the phone calls from the shelter or came to rescue them. Debbie has been adopted but Jim is still waiting for his forever home.

Jim is a young and striking fellow, probably 12-18 mos old. Jim is a "talker"...he likes to have conversations with you (a typical Shepherd trait). Jim will do best with an experienced shepherd person as he likes to test his limits pretty regularly although he wants to please his people - he just needs a strong leader who can point him in the right direction.

Jim will do well with a non dominant dog - he needs to learn appropriate play behavior - he truly is a big teenage pup with lots of energy and enthusiasm.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
