Dana has been adopted! 01-24-2006

This gorgeous female German shepherd dog is Dana. Not only is she a knockout, but her looks haven't gone to her head. Just like the girl next door, this one year old is sweet and good natured too! Dana sports a striking medium length coat that is as downy as puppy fur and gives her a soft, feathery look about her neck and legs.

Her previous owner was called up for military service and had sent Dana to a shelter. Dana is about two years old and is currently underweight at 60 lbs. With proper nutrition she should fill out to 80 lbs or so when fully grown. .
Dana loves everybody, people and dogs alike. She has lived with other dogs in a foster home with a family of three male German shepherds and a human child of kindergarten age. Dana is all about love and charm. She is light on her feet and is ever smiling. She is a delight.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
