Chase has been adopted! 07-08-2006

Female about 0 old.

Chase is a shephard mix and is about 1 year old. He was abandoned by
his previous owner, but was smart enough to find a trainer's house. He
lives there now with 5 foster dogs who he shows adoration with kisses and
grooming. He also enjoys the company of their 2 cats. He is house
broken, doesn't dig, and has never been destructive in the house.

He has
endured some abuse and neglect, as he arrived skinny, dehydrated, and wary of
strangers. He has never shown aggression and is neutered. Chase is VERY sweet after an
initial "feeling out" period. He gets along well with nearly all other
dogs, but sometimes rude, "pouncy" dogs can offend him, after all he is
part Shepherd. Chase needs a home where his humans have the time and
patience to help him learn that people are GOOD.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
