Annie has been adopted! 01-01-2006

Female about 0 old.

Annie is a sassy and confident 5 month old tomboy. She already weighs in at 50 lbs and she can definitely throw her weight around. She is an exubertant and happy gal, but too much for a family with toddlers and younger kids.

Annie is housebroken, walks well on a leash and knows a couple of commands. She is hanging out in a foster home with multiple dogs and doing well. She does seem to have a bit of an alpha personality. We want to place Annie in an experienced shepherd family so that she can reach her full potential as a good canine citizen!

Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
