Chloe has been adopted! 08-27-2006

Female about 0 old.

Meet Chloe, a refined and typical example of a classic female Shepherd. She is about 2 years old and absolutely adores people. We were alerted to Chloe by a concerned shelter worker after Chloe had given trouble to the medical staff and was deemed "unadoptable to the public". After our evaluation of her, we knew that we had a typical young female and, of course, had to figure out a way to bring her in to our overstuffed rescue.

Chloe is most likely an alpha female with a working mentality. She will benefit from an active home life, i.e., jogging, hiking, energetic daily walks. She can most likely live with other dogs, but not with another alpha dog. Chloe should excel at obedience or tracking training. She is extremely athletic and eager to please.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
