Lucy has been adopted! 10-01-2006

Lucy is a gorgeous well bred, medium sized girl. She is AKC registered. While she gets along with other dogs, she can be particular. Because she is high energy and a typical one year old shepherd girl, we will not place her in a home with small children.

Lucy has been through training and knows her stuff, but she would be best in a home that could show her strong leadership and set boundaries for her behavior. She has the capability to take over a household and requires an experienced shepherd owner - she definitely requires a job and we will highly encourage any adopter to enroll her in the appropriate training classes.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
